Digital commerce in the Philippines continued to build upon its strong performance over the review period with impressive growth rates recorded by a number of industries. While retailing remained the largest industry in value sales terms, with a strengthening performance predicted over the forecast period, a number of other tech-related categories also continued to gain momentum including digital streaming which continued to emerge in the country, foodservice and transport with the latter two supported by third party food delivery apps and ride hailing apps respectively.[Euromonitor International]
