When developing the Acer 40 Brand Story book, we had the honor of going through a wealth of historical documents and old fragile photographs, as well as interviewing dozens of key characters.
Many of US were touched by Acer’s history as it unfolded right before our eyes, an amazing story of how it grew from a team of less than a dozen employees 40 years ago to about 7,000 people today. But beyond the achievements, we were also touched by how much Acer had contributed to society, form being the first company to welcome its employees as shareholders to the adoption of green supply chains and processes. “Greatness is not in what you have, but in what you give.” Acer is a company that has remained true to its brand mission of “breaking barriers between people and technology” b diminishing the digital divide to great extent these past 40 years. And Acer will continue ”grow with us” for many years to come.
