¡]2¡^ Author Search¡G Use Author Search to find materials by individual authors, performers, translators, editors, creators, etc. 
For example ¡GIf you want to find the book which author is "Wilson, Edward Osborne", you can choose one of these methods:

¡]ii¡^ Truncation: please type "Wilson]".
(3¡^ Subject Search¡GThe Subject Search option compares search words or phrases only to those found in a controlled vocabulary .

Advanced Search
You can use the Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to search for combinations of words or phrases.
For example: 
¡]i¡^ "+" ¡]and¡^¡GIf you want to find the book containing "war" and "peace", you can use this operator to search.
¡]ii¡^ "/" ¡]or¡^¡GIf you want to find the book containing "war" or "peace", you can use this operator to search.
¡]iii¡^ "!" ¡]not¡^¡GIf you want to find the book which is talking about "civil war", but not talking about "Virginia", you can use this operator to search.
